ON THE FIRST
My monthly FEEL IT ON THE FIRST campaign has been going strong for years. On the first of each month, I post a fun photo (like the ones you see here) to remind women to do a breast self-exam, schedule a screening, talk to their doctors about their risk profile and to prioritize their breast health. My aim is to make people laugh and view breast cancer prevention through a less scary lens. It’s about empowerment and keeping it top of mind and it’s working: people DM me photos of everyday objects that look like boobs and, in more than a few cases, my posts have led women to have screenings which led to earlier diagnoses. The key to breast cancer survival is EARLY DETECTION. Send me your own FEEL IT photos and I may post them and tag you!
